Thanks for the memories, Jim Henson!

As a parent, you are called to do many things that you otherwise might not, as a consenting adult, do, such as watch kiddie videos and programs that are nothing more than glorified advertising for Madison Avenue. Back in the early ’80’s, every Saturday evening found our family of four (at that time) at the tube, enjoying some of the funniest, most well-written programming ever - the Muppet Show. While it was touted as something for the kids, the adults here on Thompson Mill Road enjoyed it then and still do today. And with a treasure like Dizzy Gillespie on, backed by Henson’s band, the Electric Mayhem, you were really in for a treat. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing Dizzy!
