Reminded by a good friend how easy it is to be hard on yourself, I’ve decided to give myself a break tonight after spending four hours sorting through Kindermusik teaching materials, lesson plans, lyric sheets, home kits, and schedules from last summer. I am working on this summer’s class schedule and plan to have that up by mid-week. I’m really excited at the Adventure themes for this summer, but I’ve got to get a handle on the chaos in my office area before I can successfully plan this summer’s!
In the meantime, I have to share this gifted artist with you. I enjoy listening to creative people who think “outside the box” and produce some amazing results. Courtesy of BusterDilly and Melody Watson, enjoy the creativity and innovative talent of Imogen Heap. Believe it or not, it’s all done a cappella (sans instruments for non-music types) using only her voice and modern technology known as “looping”.
Ah. Takes one to know one then, doesn’t it? When it comes to being hard on yourself, eh? Well. Thanks for the reminder and the reminding.
I absolutely loved this video. It is so crazy how great she is. I posted it on my blog too. Do you happen to know her? Or did you just find it on someone else’s blog?
Hi, Mallory!
It *is* a fabulous video, isn’t it?
No, I don’t know Imogen Heap. I found her on the blog of my friend, Molly McGinn, linked above as “Buster Dilly”.
Molly is a *terrific* independent song artist and always seems to find some of the best *unique* artists to put up on her blog. That’s why I attributed her and *her* source, Melody Watson, in my blog post.
Glad you enjoyed it!
