Did you know that you have the greatest parenting power right at your fingertips?
Well, you do!
According to a study conducted by neurobiologist Frances Champagne of Columbia University, released in 2006, new research reveals that a mother’s touch early in life could trigger a child’s future mothering skills. If your mother held you a great deal as a baby, odds are that you hold yours a lot as well.
Simply holding and touching your child can positively influence the development of his or her “love” hormone that will be used later in life to care for his or her own children – your grandchildren! So, if you want to influence their parenting skills, ask yourself one question:
Have you held your child today? 🙂
