One for Father, (hold up thumb)

One for Mother, (hold up pointer)

One for Grandma, (middle finger)

One for Sister, (ring finger)

One for Brother, (little finger)

My Turkey

I have a turkey, big and fat.

He spreads his wings
(fan hands at hip)

And walks like that.
(strut back and forth).

His daily corn he would not miss,
(pretend to eat corn).

And when he talks, he sounds like this

Pumpkin Pie

(Count off on fingers, then hold out both hands face up)

Five little pumpkins sitting on the ground

The first one said, “I’m big, orange and round!”

The second one said, “I’m fresh off the vine!”

The third one said, “I taste divine!”

The fourth one said, “I’m ready to be tasted!”

The fifth one said, “Bake my seeds so they’re not wasted!”

Someone from the kitchen picked them up and we know why….

The five little pumpkins all became Pumpkin Pie!

Pumpkins on the Ground

(To the Tune of: Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)

Pumpkin, pumpkin on the ground (crouch down)

How’d you get so big and round? (stretch arms out wide to sides and then
make a circle)

Once you were a seed so small, (pretend to hold a seed)

Now you are a great big ball! (make huge circle with hands)

Heigh-ho! Halloweens’ here!

(use spooky voice)

Three little witches were stirring a pot,

Two little ghosts say, How d’ye do?

Five Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins (Hold up all 5 fingers)
Sitting on a gate
The first one said,
“Oh, my, it’s getting late!” (Point to wrist like checking the time)
The second one said,
“There are witches in the air!” (Point up and across, like pointing to the witches flying)
The third one said,
“But we don’t care!” (Shake head like saying “no”)
The fourth one said,
“Let’s run and run and run!” (Move arms like you’re running)
The fifth one said,
“I’m ready for some fun!” (A big smile)
OOOOOOOH, went the wind
And OUT went the light (Clap on “out”)
